Kirkwood Reindeer Run
We were delighted to support The Kirkwood Reindeer Run. Children and staff could come in their Christmas Jumpers and had to complete 10 laps of the school playground to help Santa deliver presents to countries all over the world in return for sponsorships. We were overwhelmed by the support from our families and are sure Kirkwood Hospice will be thrilled by the amount raised. Thank you to everyone who sponsored our children.

Bikeability
As part of the North Kirklees Sport Partnership our reception children worked with the team from Bikeability to practise their balance and cycling skills. They were amazing! The Bikeability coaches were really impressed with their enthusiasm and skill.

Hearts for Homes
Through our current affairs programme ‘Picture News’ have been learning about the struggles in care homes to keep residents safe.
All our children in school have created a heart with a message for a resident in a local care home to help cheer them up over the festive period.
